He says he only married me for the married man's tax allowance :rotfl:

I think deep down, mine is basically trying to let me have what I want, it's just a shame he has to spoil it afterwards with his critical remarks.

i think that is mine's problem too! somehow he just can't help voicing them criticisms, after the event!

Have you done any painting today hun?

i want one like Lucifa's, he seems nice!

He is very lovely and thoughtful and has an opinion which he shares. Can be frustrating being wrapped in cotton wool sometimes though... :p

I'd be a bit worried if it wasn't so rosy after less than 2 years of marriage though...

We're (DD and DS are helping :o )about to ake a start in the utility room. It took a bit of clearing, because it's the room things get put when they dont have a place.

I'm going over the walls in white first to cover the yellow, then I'll mix the pink from our left-over paint supply ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

yes, i was ably assisted for about 5 minutes by erin last night... she soon got bored and went off to watch telly so i could get on!

i wish we had a utility room, our dumping ground is the kitchen table.

He's considering setting up his own firm and asked if I would consider joining him... Its only in theory at the moment but he seems quite turned on by the idea and I loved working for him. It would be risky but I can't think of anyone I'd trust more to make a go of it so I said if it ever came to fruition I would be interested.

afternoon all. Big hugs to those in the dumps today.

Just had a very filling and spicy lunch.

Looking forward to seeing scan and poochy pics.

My friends got back in the country yesterday - they've been travelling for the last year. It's been surreal seeing them in weird and wonderful places around the world through the website they set up. Such an adventure though - they started off by sailing across to France to tour the canals and they boat is now 'parked' in France somewhere and they have been to loads of places including Guatemala and Peru!
