Shares and cash in ISA

I have used my isa allowance for cash this year - 3600. However I have some odd shares that have come my way over the years, not a lot, less than £3k worth. Is it possible to stick them in an ISA too?

Thanks Angus

  • How do I do that then, do I talk to the stockbroker that I use (www.share.com) or my ISA Provider

If you ISA provider takes single company shares you speak to them. If not you find one that does. Selftrade for example (not a recommendation, just an example that often pops up on here).

Here's what your broker says - link.
  • Thanks for that. I've committed to a mini cash ISA with another company, can i still keep that but use share.com for the shares part of my allowance - ie splitting the isa over 2 providers?

    Thanks
