I endured my SIL and new hubbis doing Proclaimers - 500 miles, a song I love, and they ruined it with a dance routine!!!!!!!!

Was escorted away before I could say anything rude.

We had Savage Garden I Knew I Loved You.
It was lovely we did not tell anyone and took dance lessons so Instead of the usual shuffle we did a full routine.
It went down a storm and hubby loved It he was even better than me on the day and this Is a man who never usually dances!

People still talk about It Lovely Song!

My other half loves Take That Rule the world.

Lifehouse - You and me - is THE song though, as well as Greenday - whenseptemberends though a little depressing lol.

I first heard the song you and me in a you tube video that a young lady made while awaiting the arival of her little hero back from wartorn. I would play that song over and over again in the run up to my OH coming home. Couldnt listen to it mid tour as it would make me cry. But this song puts a smile on my face whenever I think of my dear OH. The words are poignant to our situation.

Every one thinks it is a sad song but I see it as positive, I suppose each to their own. OH loves this song too, easy decision to make. Although little does OH know, he will have to dance for the full length of the song! :rotfl: He is not coordinated in the slightest. hehe

For those of you who had Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol did you find it hard to dance to? We have decided that this is the song we want for our first dance(even though we haven't set a date yet!!) but I'm not sure how easy it will be to dance to.
