First Dance songs

We're swaying towards this at the moment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NWyu42zl0w TBH I don't care if anyone things it's 'too 80's' the words are perfect for us and it's a good speed for a first dance

We're both well into our dance music so may get a DJ friend to mix Adagio for strings for us from classical into dance as it's so us.

My BIL & SIL to be had Chasing cars for their first dance and it was nice - but not hugely inspiring.

I was married for almost 8 years and together 10 years.
He cheated on me the first time 8 months after we were married, the first time always hurts the most, I should have walked away then, but worried too much what people would say so stayed and tried to forgive and forget and I almost did, till me did it again. !!!!.......................

I have a real treasure now, been together almost 2 years (met just over a year after I seperated from my ex) and we don't have an "our song" just as well we don't need one :rotfl:

Our song is "I love you just the way you are". We both like the versions by Billy Joel and Barry White. The Barry White version was played at our wedding. I really love the words and, to me, they sum up our feelings for each other.

A friend of ours is singing chasing cars while we sign the register. Took ages of looking through song words to find one appropriate... It's amazing how many nice romantic songs are about breaking up!


We're probably not going to have a first dance... Neither of us can!

I really like "God bless you" by the stylistics a oldie but i just love the song sooooo much.
