First Dance songs

Has anyone got any in mind? I thought I had settled on Amazed by Lonestar but now having second thoughts. My OH is into his dance music, so is pretty much leaving it down to me to come up with suggestions.... I'm hoping he can slow down a dance track I like, called Good For Me as he into his mixing/Djing etc, but will have to see!

I don't want anything too slow/long, and something a bit different but struggling for inspiration!

Cant really help, but we had amazed for ours, and it was great took us ages to decide on music! A few weeks later the whole football team sang it to us on a karoke, and we got to do our first dance again, bless them. I just googled first dance songs, then listern to them on utube. Song we had for signing the register was 'we are man & wife' really lovely song too which could be as a first dance song its over 4 mins though, but you could shorten it x

oh is more into dance music, I like it and we have lots of songs from our clubbing days that remind us of each other, but nothing appropriate for the first dance.

We did like lonestar - amazed, bryan adams - heaven, i love love love michael buble - everything, but oh doesnt like it :mad: love will young - evergreen, and last night we were flicking thru the music channels when always by atlantic star came on, we both like it, but I dont know if its too 80s for us:rotfl: thank goodness I have a year to decide :rotfl:

i also love candi staton - you've got the love, I wish i could find a slowed down version for our first dance, as the words are just perfect.

We are doing the funny first dance, I have started with James morrison- You give me something, then scratched into funnier songs, e.g barbie girl
