My 18 month Vodafone at Home contract is ending in two weeks, i've been paying my line rental, phone charges and broadband to Vodafone.
I went into Carphonewarehone and signed up for the AOL laptop deal but because i don't pay BT my line rental they are unable to proceed with my order until BT have taken my line rental over again. This means i am going to be without broadband for at least 2 weeks.
Unable to go with Tiscali and Sky for the same reason, i don't pay BT my line rental.
Can anyone advise me on what my options are. The only one i can think of is BT for the phone and broadband.
Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Until your line rental has returned to BT or another landline supplier their is not much you can do.
A BT line will enable you to chose from most broadband suppliers.0 -
I have a BT line and Tesco broadband. This is working fine for me and tesco have various packages available.0

Just out of interest (I'm with Vodafone myself) why don't you want to continue with them?
Also, have you established whether there will be a charge for BT to take over the line. I may be completely wrong on this, but I thought that if you transferred away from them, you had to pay a fee to come back."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -

We've had no problems with Vodafone the best broadband we've had, it's just my mobile contract is ending the same time as the broadband and as im a low user its cheaper for me to have an Orange sim only deal. As i wont have a mobile contract then i'll have to pay an extra £10 a month for the broadband which at £35.00 makes it expensive even though it includes free calls and line rental, we rarely use the landline to benefit from them.
There's no charge to go back to BT and i can have free evening and weekend calls with Option 1.0 -

02 offer deals if you are a contract member with them. If they have their LLU in your area and you ring up you may get a good deal you can check here to see what LLU's are available: http://www.samknows.com/broadband/checker2.phpKind Regards

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area but we've just moved back into our property and I've asked BT to reconnect us.They say that there is a 12 month contract for even the basic package but I was hoping to go with Tiscali or Talk Talk for their combined Broadband/telephone,have I got no chance?0

Not unless you can cancel the order and get someone else to connect your line and let you leave immediately for another provider free gratis.
Tiscali and Talktalk could connect you if they chose.“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0
