    Morning Guys,

I just got the good news email this morning.

But my question is when do I find out what overdraft I have been given and what is the process for me to follow to get them to match my existing overdraft?

    Cheers

i got my email too but mine said sorry the computer says no , i have still got the cashback for opening the saving account with them so its not all bad .

I have applied online to the Abbey for a current account and been accepted straight away, i ticked the box that i didnt want a overdraft so this is why i may have been accepted i have no idea why one bank say no and one says yes.

Give them a ring they will tell you over the phone how much overdraft they have given you

I had to provide a full months statement recent towithin 3 months, it had to show I was in credit for at least two days, my salary had to go into it and it had to show my overdraft limit.

if my OD amount wasn't on the statement a letter would have done from the bank.

They do send out a pack with a return envelope... but that comes in the 2nd week after applying.

I decided to send off the info earlier as my switch to them was dependant on them matching my OD limit... pretty quick turnover and sorted within 3 days of posting.

I think I heard after about 24hrs ye, I got my £50 through Quidco without problems so aslong as you cleared the cookies that should be fine. Im going to try get £20 through Quidco for the esaver account too, has anyone done this successfully? I thought there might be complications as I have the current account already.

What do you mind by clearing cookies?

For all cashback sites, make sure that you clear cookies (in IE7, delete browsing history under tools). Then log in to Quidco (or whoever), go to your chosen deal and click through and complete the registration. This is to make sure that you haven't inadvertently already had a cookie (tracking code) added to your computer that would potentially mean somone else being "credited" with the referral, which would mean you would not get the cashback.

I signed up to A&L a few weeks ago - got the Good News email within the hour - still waiting for it to appear at all (not even tracked yet) on Quidco. They are very quick opening the account though - card, checkbook and log in details through within two weeks max!
