Pity the car boot sale didn't go so well OliveOyl, I haven't been to one for ages but used to go with my mum clearing the kids stuff out and regularly made £100+ a time, and had a laugh too.

Candy - glad the job is going well:D

Candy glad the job is going well and your feeling much happier in it.

Am very pleased with myself as not only did i complete everything on my list but did a lot more on top of that, as stated in other post. Have also done some more!!

-I enquired about a microwave on freecycle
-I went on counselling forum for tips and advice and have been accepted into certain parts of the site
-Continued investigating placements for counselling course
-Have also entered all comps ending tomorrow
-Have enquired about two further things listed on freecycle

Means i can take it a bit easier tomorrow!!

Andan, you should hold energy/motivation seminars!! :T

Have had quite a strange DFW evening, from down to up :o we were trying to work out how to afford a telly for the new flat and couldn't... but then I realised I had counted 6 weeks flat deposit instead of 5 (have paid one week as holding deposit!), and that covers the TV apart from #30 :D I need an auditor for my spreadsheet :rotfl:that isn't me! ;)
  • evening all....just checking in as havent been on all weekend (been holed up in bed with Matthew Gray Gubler - well the dvd box set anyway)

Not done massive money saving stuff today - even went out for lunch and bought juice from the vending machine......bad angel....bad angel

Still, did stop in tonight and watched the Bucket List with my rogof voucher from pigsback - great offer btw
Also, dd did the meal planning for the week and also promised she would cook it every night!! Fantastic - reminds me...must go take mince out freezer for tomorrow.

Done all my bank checking and clicking although no piggy and quidco kept crashing. also had my £60 rejected from cpw but i suspected that would happen.

Also been quite bad and put the heating on for a while to dry off some of the clothes but am going to turn off now before i go to sleep, despite me being cold. Catch up tomorrow hopefully X

Kalojak, i wouldn't worry too much about it, sometimes when people start off on the dfw journey they make things a bit too tight for themselves and then feel awful if they don't stick to it. It's a case of everything in moderation and two days out of a whole week/month/whatever is still very good going!

As for survey sites, i recommend you try out global test market, i've had several £25 payments out of them. Also valued opinions and toluna which is also known as test and vote.

    Thank you Andan,:T

I had a really good nights sleep, and am feeling really optimistic today, I don't work Tuesday so going to sit down and write a plan to counter-act the weekends spends. Thanks again, Kalojac x
