    If the tax has run out - well, yes! But to display next years in advance - give me a break from this studid pc !!!!.

    lol, jeannie, had this conversation with my mum today - noticed she's put on next month's tax now, ditched this month's. Said as she has continuous tax, MOT, insurance (easily checked in a click) she will be a nice soft bit of cash-collecting. She sped off in fury. :D

    What happened to common sense in all of this??

    Well I actually only said there was the offence of failing to display. I can't actually ever recall anyone being prosecuted for displaying a new tax disc a few days early.

    Like the laws requiring taxis to carry a bale of straw in the back, it's not enforced.
