I think I wouldve been more offended if they actually did give out Gary Glitter cds as people thought they might have. Though i'd have ordered 1 cuz i've always wanted to know what it would feel like to smash a cd with a hammer lol

I can imagine we'll see the owners of boffer on Dragons den asking for money then showing boffer and saying "look how many people we have had register on the site!"

I hate this kind of thing, I wonder how much a massive list of marketing details go for these days? Boffer may not send loads of emails but I wouldnt mind betting they will sell your details on.
