I am trying to be realistic, my 4 bed, 3 bath semi 1930's in the country, has a little orchard and 200ft garden looking onto woodland....... probably now only worth 130 k

I am looking to downsize to a little place as im getting infirm its priced at 75k, i've seen it , its perfect!,
I want it tommorrow, so what price should i offer an investor? but still have a little left over for moving costs and furniture.

What, you mean sell it to a 'We buy your house for CASH' investor? Pls don't go there. You will do much better selling it to the first person to offer 90% of a fair valuation.
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

Oh my, your house sounds like heaven to me! My dogs would love a garden like yours.

Those companies that buy your property don't offer much, you'd be better off marketing.

I would get it valued by a couple of local agents to make sure your valuation is correct then offer it at a realistic price. I'm sure with the right price, it would be worth trying to sell yourself. You may only get 80% of it's value or less from one of those cash sale firms

Do you mind giving the post code, so we can see what houses are going for locally please?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Sad Dog Lady I have sent you a pm
  • thank you, i will try that agent, but i am sceptical that any property will shift in the current market, let alone one that needs management ( garden) its a nice home for a family, i had the roof converted for a play room, and it has a great big shed, so maybe a family may want it.
