Orange Contract Phone Help

Hi Guys,
I would be grateful if someone could offer some advice to me. I have a blackberry phone on contract from orange, I got it online and it arrived on the 9th of August, all has been well until this afternoon. The blackberry says insert sim, I have done all the usual switching it off and back on, removing the battery and sim card and replaced it but it doesn't work.

I tried the sim card in my OH's phone and it works there. My question is will Orange replace the Blackberry for me, I don't have orange care. I didn't want to call Orange just yet if it was to be fruitless as the last time I called them it took a whole hour to speak to someone.

Somebody please give me some advice.:confused:

    Yeah as you havnt had it long they should straight swap it.
  • I was told by Orange that within the first 6 months you would get a replacement phone issued, only thing is they're refurbs not brand new ones, but if it does't work they do take them back - had to get my W910i replaced 4 times before I got a working one!
