Cats and leads

I have a cat that I think is an Egyptian Mau. She is an indoor cat, as I live in a flat without access to a garden, however I have read that Maus are one of the few breeds that take to being walked on a lead. Has anyone any experience of doing this, and would it benefit her in any way? I live in a city, and there are a lot…

Many years ago i used to take my pet rat out on a lead... yes i did

He was a lovely big rat, and he loved going out for a little walk, I used to live close to a park and i would carry him there and lead walk him in there, the kids loved it and would come and look.

Luckily 'fatso' enjoyed all the attention, and the parents of the kids thought it was kewl too
