Do Orange match casback offers?

Hi, I've found a great 18 month contract on Orange with 600 minutes and unlimited texts, that works out at £16.94 per month with a free Sony Ericsson C902.

I read somewhere that if I phone up orange and tell them the deal they will match it and only charge me the effective cost per month -- is this true?

The offer is £35 per month from Mobiles2YourDoor. £280 cashback + £45 cashback from Quidco.

Dont see why they would as you would be joining the network anyway, but if you get it from mobiles2yourdoor Orange will get the full £35 a month!!

No they wont.

if you go direct, they'll give you the dol35 at 30.00 gbp per month.

no cashback matches, we dont support them. (im a telesales operator)

The way I think you have to look at cashback is; if you can afford the contract WITHOUT the cashback and treat the cash back as a bonus, then fair enough. If you need the cashback to afford the contract, i wouldn't personally go there.

I think we've all seen the ones that have gone under due to cashback probs - so just go into it with eyes open
