Asda And My £32-00

I Came back off holiday skint as usual to find my PC beyond repair,Went to Asda for some shopping and outside the store on an Advertising board was an offer for a Laptop at £279-00 and at the bottom of the ad it said "display until 1st september 08".
The Laptop was a genuine good buy,so i had one and streched my buget this was at the beggining of August so i only had a month a thought i'd better buy it.
Loe and Behold went in yesterday same advertising board now saying "Roll Back now £247-00" a difference of £32-00.
Asked at Customer Services about their "Price Promise" and the girl just shrugged i know its just one of those things but cannot help feeling like i have been robbed.
Thought about it over night and the only solution i could come up with is the old "Scan a few-miss one scam" at the Self Scan apart from that ive got no hope(i in no way condone shoplifting) But how else can i get my Harned earned cash back!!!
FYI-The Laptop was well worth £279-00 so at £249-00 now, must be an even better bargain(This is Birmingham) Dont all run out a buy one as they wont have any left to SELL to me after i have took mine back for a refund(now theres and idea) at least that one wont get me arrested!!!

  • You were happy with the price you paid, right?

Prices on technological items drop.. you can't get upset about it.

Robbed of a proper education and an understanding of morals in British society more like.

No-one forced you to purchase the laptop.

If the laptop was well worth £279 what the heck have you come on here for?

Why did you ask about that? I thought price promises are about matching other retailers, not present prices for items previously bought.

I know you obviously seem to not like what you're hearing, but do you get the gist of what people are telling you!

If you didn't want responses, then why did you post?

If the computer is £350 next time you go in the store, will you be offering to pay the difference?

As much as its annoying we all been there. You have to accept that its one of those things. It could be worse you may have got the laptop early this year and paid more than you did in August. Tech stuff does tend to drop in value far more than most things

as others have said that's just the ways things are with technology stuff - they get cheaper as time goes on. But I would feel the same way you do had it happened to me and I'm sure others can relate to how you feel as well.
