    if you can afford it, buy another one at the reduced price, then return it, using the first higher priced receipt .. Simple...I work at asda, its done all the time, in the George store where I work..

    ok i work for asda and to be honest, these things happen, its tough, but .... if you really wanted to kick up a fuss, write to head office for a final decision.

    the girl at customer services should not have just shrugged you off, but got a manager.
