Rights to cancel ISA...any advice?

I opened a fixed rate ISA (6.5%) with Lloyds TSB back in march and put 3.6K in april - this also included an transfer of my existing ISA (which is still waiting to happen). To date I have heard nothing from them and have become frustrated by this and would like some advice on what can I do.

After speaking to the branch staff, they say there's a lot of backlog and just have to wait.

Also im considering cancelling my application of transfer and move the 3.6K into my existing ISA provider. Does this seem possible to do and would I have the rights to do this? All advice much appreciated. Thanks

I did it a year ago when Abbey made a mess of my transfer. I simply phoned up my exisiting provider and told them not to allow the transfer to take place. I also notified Abbey that I no longer wished to transfer.
