  • Oh Linda, how utterly horrific and tragic :( thinking of you and your friends today xxx

It seems very quiet on here, which is good if you are all with your loved ones on this bank holiday weekend... we have been doing a deep-clean on the house, the list of jobs might even impress Sammy... maybe.

    yep, quiet today right enough...

horrible to hear about the poor baby Linda... words don't even begin....

Went with erin to the art group, she made felt from woolly stuff (a wall hanging? a placemat? who knows?)... a mosaic plaque of her own name, very goudi-esque, and a little clay cat....

Even better, it was all free this first session, i thought it was going to be £5 each.... and she will be able to go fortnightly until xmas, and she doesn't actually need a grown up to stay, so i can buy myself 2 hours peace and quiet for the bargain price of £5!

Did a little food shopping, some chicken thighs for slow cooker but not sure what i'm going to use for liquor? BB - help!!!!! if push comes to shove, i'll do them in a little water just plain and make some gravy...

Also have done some housework.....fab day for washing! 3 loads done and dried outside, back in again and folded... !

more housework to come tomorrow, i'm pacing myself!!

I'm off ot local bingo tonight, wish me luck!!!!!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Do you have a can of tomatoes? Or some fresh tomatoes you can quarter and chuck in? Add in dried herbs, onions, garlic, spices - whatever tickles your fancy really!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Evening people,

Linda, that is such sad news. And about your friend too Lenny.

Hi Sammy, I've had a very productive day of housework, and now got wine (no crisps) and a couple of DVDs but can't seem to settle down to watch them!
