...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
            morning all.
Not feeling fab today. My back is killing me - even more than I normally have to put up with, which isn't helped knowing I need to sit here working all day on AQA.
Remember when I was going to book the holiday and I predicted OH would start saying 'we aren't going on holiday unless you weigh x?' well, I should be picking lottery numbers because the circle of conversations we seem to have shifted back round to that one last night. I informed him I'd lost 6 pounds last week and then got back 'yeah, but how much did you put on first, this is the heaviest you've ever been ' (another of his one-liners trotted out with this conversation, so I knew it was coming).
I basically told him to shut up and that if he was going to think such nasty things, then the best thing to do was to keep his mouth shut and think them, not say them.
Think I got through to him, he was then all sweetness and light........

            Well done BB.
What a totally cruel thing to say. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
And SUPER well done on losing 6 lbs! That's brilliant. I'm going to try Snaggles diet she's doing-she calls it the 'S' plan and she lost 2 lbs doing it.
*Bunny trots off to explain the 'S' plan to DH*
And Marky-I know Sean and Karen beresford as well. Do you know them? Or Kelly Cook? I know it's a massive place-especially now that it's EDS, Cap Gemini, HRMC etc etc etc!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
BB - am I still on the reserve list! :rotfl: Well done on the 6lbs by the way:rotfl: ..Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Well bunny i'm glad you have got a better offer last night, i was worried you had slipped into the bath in a drunken stupor with a glass of wine, candles and a minor electrical appliance!
Sammy - erin got her post this morning! Thanks babes!
And lou/sammy - i got my ICB level 1 exam in the post this morning! eeek! i have to submit by the 9th of september.... actually it looks okay, had a read tru in bed this morning and it doesn't scare me witless, but then it is only level 1, so it shouldn't should it?
