I've not seen that one BB - but good luck! I think you're very brave, know someone who's been in both Masterchef and Great British Menu and it seems really tough. Good on ya! :T

Is Great british menu not all professional chefs? Or did they use master chef peeps as commis chefs or something?

Red, do you know famous peeps!!??

BB - Sounds like a proof, if proof were needed, that you are growing in confidence, and rightly so, as you do have vast and varied skills BB... i wish my abilities were half as diverse as yours!
(FYI - chicken thighs done in slow cooker, then popped in oven to dry them out a bit and make more crispy... liquor made into gravy with chicken gravy powder, birdseye frozen veg in a bag, oven chips.... a not very sunday roast dinner! but Big G and erin seemed to like it...!!)

I'm always watching old masterchefs on UKTV style, and hoping to catch some of your episodes BB... never bene lucky yet. If you ever know they are on, you should let us know!!

went to B&Q today and bought paint, am painting my bedroom tomorrow on my day off..... currently lilac border on white unpainted anaglypta style paper, has been like that almost 7 years... going mad and painting lower half lilac, upper half magnolia....leaving existing border in place ceiling will be painted *if* required but i'd rather not!!

I know 2 tone walls are so not trandy but i've always liked them, and lets face i'm no trendsetter in any department and it's only the bedroom noone will see it!

i also bought erin some groovy chick type border for her room... a project for another week...... she needs to have a massive clearout first.....

I'm off to put away the massive piles of clean washing... if you see my light on, kick my arris!

No audience I'm afraid Sammy - it's a bit of a scary programme - you cook, the critics eat and then all write a report on your food which you open and read in front of the camera  They can be a tad bi-tchy!

I'll join your trend Maz - my living room has a dark red bottom half, creamy top half with a chocolate painted border separating them. It was painted that colour when I moved in (although I painted over the border with chocolate coloured paint) and it matches the sofas etc and the other things in the room.

I'm on a slightly different trend here. I have spent all week and weekend painting every wall in sight an off white colour. You kind of need sunglasses now. However in the girls rooms I have done one wall of each a different colour to match their bedspreads......

Am going to set myself aside a couple of hours and get it done soon.. Doesn't looks too scary, but who knows!

Pass over the drugs BB! Actually I had a day like that yesterday.. today I've just been stressing round the shops, would have been so easy to spend a fortune - if I had it! Finally managed to complete my outfit for wedding next weekend though, and get a few other bits and pieces.
