richer sounds- can't count, can't listen, is there anything they CAN do?

hey peeps, richer sounds are so doing my head in.
13 months ago i handed over a large amount of my hard earned for a 23'' philips tv from them, with 5 year warranty, what a mistake.

it stopped working properly, phoned the store as panel protection policy says any tv under 32 inches return to store.
''you need to phone service''
''its only 23 inches''
''you still need to phone service''

i phoned service and they wondered why store said to phone them, told them its nothing to do with the remote as even with the batteries out the remote the problem continues........
they phoned head office, and head office said ''we'll send you a new remote''

oh !!!!!!

anyway, the new remote never arrived.

so i had someone more in the know look at the tv
''its knackered''
and the remote story
''bull****''

i am going to phone them tomorrow and see if the manager will speak to me (haha doubt it)
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)

  • I have. Loads of stuff.

If I were you I would contact trading standards and CC the letter/email into Mr Ariel Cohen
  • its gone for repair, they don't give out loan tv's, nice.

would like to see their staff/managers go 4 weeks without a tv

Why wouldn't their TV's go in for repair then? Thats actually what you wrote.
  • quick update, its been over 3 weeks since the tv went back to the store

the new remote i apparently needed- never arrived
the tv was due back a week ago, never arrived
phoned up a few times, each time i do 'we haven't got it, we'll speak to the repair centre and phone you back in *10 minutes/half hour/by the end of the day*, never get phoned back.
phoned back today and still no idea, i asked for a new tv, no chance, asked where mine is, don't know, asked what am i supposed to do, they have no idea where mine is and won't give me another, got the usual, we'll phone the repair centre and phone you back, might phone up tomorrow and ask to speak to store manager as seem to have spoken to everyone else and got nowhere.

avoid this lot, they really are shocking at after sales

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Richer Sounds? Pile of Sh*t if you ask me,

There are a couple donkeys working as sales advisors in Croydon branch. They are so out of touch of customer service it is unreal. One of them is a liar and rude. Boring aswell.

If you go onto their website you can see the sales staff who work in each branch.

If you can use Coopelectrical, John Lewis an and wait for it.....TESCO !

    Never ever touch Richer Sounds.
