This is my first competition post, really hope its not on here already, I have searched I promise and couldnt find it !

I picked a leaflet up in the chemist today.

Basically you need to go to..

www.accu-chek.co.uk

then click where it says accu-chek travel pack top left

If your not registered you will have to register but once you have registered you will be able to enter the prize draw for £5000 worth of Thomas Cook vouchers.

Also you can claim a free travel pack which includes a guidebook, phrase book, time zone guide, holiday check list and some other stuff which is diabetic related.

And there are 200 runner up prizes of a Frio Insulin wallet worth £13.50 each.

Now dont all shout at me at once if I have done this wrong !!!! One at a time is fine lol !!!!

well u cant opt out of the diabetic questions! fair enough u want to enter the comp but to pretend to be a diabetic is just sick, i would give anything for my son not to go through what he does day in day out, constant injections, 6+finger pricks a day, unless you are in that shoes u dont know what its like!

not normally like this, but been a rubbish day, dealing with my sons constant moodswings and then to see people are faking having diabetes as if its nothing just to enter a comp, just getting me a bit upset

Sorry, didnt mean to upset anyone posting this competition. My BIL does have insulin controlled diabetes and my mum's mum died of a condition relating to her diabetes. I can assure you I havent pretended anything on my entry.

Accu-Chek Travel Competition Terms & Conditions


The Accu-Chek Travel Competition Draw (“the Competition”) is operated by Roche Diagnostics Limited (“the Promoter”).
1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK and Ireland only, excluding employees of RDL, their families, agencies, advisors, pharmacies, suppliers and any persons assisting in the promotion.
2. Participants must be 18 years or over and hold a valid passport. It will also be the participant’s liability to arrange the necessary travel insurance.
3. Promotion ends 31st August 2008. Last date for receipt of entry forms is 5th Sept 2008.
4. To enter the competition, applicants must complete the registration form and the competition application form in its entirety, including accepting these terms and conditions, and sending the forms by post to Diabetes Care, Roche Diagnostics Limited, Charles Avenue, Burgess Hill RH15 9RY. In order to qualify for the prize, your entry must be received by the closing date stated above. Incomplete entries or those not received by the above deadline will be disqualified. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for entries lost or mislaid in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted as your form of entry. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of a participant’s computer or network/internet service provider connection or any injury or damage to a participant’s or other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in relation to the draw. By participating in the draw, participants agree that no claim relating to any such loss or injury (including without limitation special, indirect or consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Promoter.
5. The entry form can be obtained from participating pharmacies, participating diabetes clinics, participating GP practices or by visiting the Accu-Chek website (www.accu-chek.co.uk).
6. No Purchase necessary for promotion entry. Only one entry per household.
7. There is one (1) first prize to be won. This prize entitles the winner to £5,000 of holiday Thomas Cook vouchers (see prize details
below). In addition, there are two hundred (200) runners up prizes of FRIO® Insulin Wallets to be won.
8. The winners will be selected at random from those correct entries received before the closing date. Competition question must be answered correctly in order to be considered a “correct entry”. In the event of more than one correct entry, the winners will be chosen at random by the Promoter’s RDL. The decision made by the promoter’s is final.
9. The prizes are as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services.
10. There is one prize of Thomas Cook Worldwide Travel Vouchers (“Prize vouchers”) worth £ 5,000 (five thousand pounds) to be won. Prize Vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any travel product sold by Thomas Cook. Prize Vouchers can be redeemed in any Thomas Cook Shop, through Thomas Cook Direct, against Thomas Cook TV or via thomascook.com. Prize Vouchers are valid indefinitely. Prize Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be used against foreign currency or travellers cheques, cash refunds cannot be made on any balance not used. 15. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to hold the Promoter and its affiliates harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the award of, the use of or misuse of any prize. All such data will be processed within the EEA and will be used by the Promoter, its affiliates and representatives for the purposes of administering this competition. The Promoter would also like to use the personal data which is provided by a participant when entering this competition for future Roche Diagnostics Limited. marketing activity. 21. The Promoter shall not be liable to any Competition prize winner for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of a prize or any failure or inability of a Competition winner to use a Holiday voucher for any reason.
