  • I got one in Lincoln this morning. Surprisingly good sound for such a small radio.
Pity I can't get DAB where I live but it will be fine for in the caravan.

THANKS hubby wants a dab radio for his birthday friday - this is perfect!
Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)
  • thanks op just reserved one going to pick it up later:D
  • Typically I saw this thread after just buying another DAB radio, but it turned out to not have such a good signal at work where I wanted to use it, so just returned it and bought one of these!

Listening to it now, pretty good sound quality, and half the price of the previous and now-returned radio, the Roberts is a better one too!
Total debt as at Jul 2012: Too much!

Thanks folks, reserved and collected this morning, £17.99, hopefully £17.36 if Quidco tracks correctly. Sound quality is good for such a small unit. This is my third DAB, and second Roberts, the non-roberts one's reception is pathetic in comparison. Not tried the FM yet but I'm sure its ok.

As it was so cheap this one is for my 4 1/2 year old to listen to Cbeebies on R7 on!

Sales assistant on the till did seem a bit surprised at the price!

  • Thank you for this Deanos. I've been after a decent DAB for some time. I'm off to collect mine in the morning.

I've been trying to get one since Saturday in the East Midlands with no luck. I was advised to order one on line with home delivery!
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
