Withdrawing Cash From A Halifax ISA

I thought this would be an obvious question, but when I tried to transfer money from my ISA I was left confused about how the whole process works.

Basically, is it possible to walk into my local Halifax bank, give them the details to my ISA and withdraw cash right there and then? I need money for this weekend and that's the only account that has a substantial amount of money in it.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

    Depends.

Fixed rate ISA probably has a restriction on it.

ISA Saver passbook will probably allow you to draw cash up to £1,200.

ISA Saver Direct is an online / telephone account so branches aren't supposed to enable withdrawals. Give them a call and arrange a transfer in to a branch based account or go online and move it there.
