So, in order to be able to use 18185 I would need to go back to BT or use some of the other numbers that you can dial to override the calls - is that right?
Yes if your not with BT you should be able to use the Non-BT access numbers see http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php. Note different rates apply.0 -
I've had a look at BT this afternoon and they are actually working out cheaper than Sky at the moment so I'm going to switch back and that should also sort out the 18185 issue - 2 birds 1 stone!
I'm sure I've seen something on here about getting caller display for free with BT? Is that right? I always paid well over a pound a month for caller display when I was with BT (it's free with Sky) and I objected to it when I was with BT before! Is it something to do with the Home Privacy thing? Can anyone advise please?
Thanks...:DGrocery Budget from 24th August to 31st August - £100/Declared at £99.27 :j

Can anyone advise please?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Just Call Freephone 0800 1218000 when you return to BT and use the automated service to get 'free' Caller Display Note BT impose a £1.75 a month charge for this facility if you don't make at least 2 chargeable/inclusive calls a month via BT.0 -
