Now every time i go in she looks straight at me as if to says " don't try it ", so have been a chicken, but going somewhere different tomorrow so will try my luck there.Fingers crossed for you too, looks like I am going to have to go to a different store and get some nail files was thinking of getting a mitchum in each transaction with 50% off coupon so just over £4.00 with 500 points and new set of spits? ( thinking about it might be better than model me as wouldn't have got the spits as would have had to do them all in separate transactions anyway)
Was disappointed that my plan as thwarted but rules are rules and I wouldn't be able to break them in my job....the only thing is if the voucher scanned the SA's wouldn't batter an eyelid

For everyone asking about the Smiley perfume, here's the Smiley website with more info about it and some prices. http://www.happytherapy.com/indexlang.html
To give you an idea of Boots prices, the deodorant is currently £16  The EDP when they sold it was around £32 for 30mls I think.
The giftsets if you can get hold of one, contain a 50ml EDP and some bath fizzers and massage gel sachets.
It's heavy on the patchouli, difficult to describe the scent otherwise, I would describe it as a reassuring familiar scent in the same way as new mown grass or fresh-baked bread, it doesn't smell like either but gives you the same reassuring feelings, if that makes any sense0 -

I am a bit stupid, I think, cause I can never find many of these glitches that you all report but today, I finally did the Trevor Sorbie one! I asked the other day in the Lancaster store if there were any magazines but was told no, they'd all gone and the new one was due in a couple of weeks or so. I went to the photographic counter at the back today and there was a little pile of them! So they weren't telling the truth the other day! Little scamps! I sweetly asked if I could have two, one for my daughter so got them and a few bits, and a £5 top-up and went off for the big shop armed with the two vouchers!!!
I went to the TS bit and got the Long Hair serum, and was just looking round wondering what on earth I should get as well, when ....oops... there was a coupon from the H & B mag stuck into the SEL! Thank you very much to whoever put that there, presumably one of US, who had enough stuff and just knew someone would be along in a minute who would use it. I didn't realise that I could have got three things, though, told you I was stupid!
I was so excited, so then I went and got two N7 Tan Maintainers, some other stuff and went to the girl on the sandwich till. She took ages, going through everything, with a big queue building up, checking that I had all the stuff that I should have done, then piped up that the N7 Tan Maintainers were coming up at half price, let me nip back to the shelf and get the last two so they all went through (with GWP natch!).
There was no TD stuff under £6.99 and all those shelves were bare so got something for that - I can't make head or tail of the receipt but I ended up paying £11.75. I was puzzled until I realised that in my haste, I hadn't given her the £5 facial voucher!! (found it in my bag when I got home). I suppose I will just have to live with that as I couldn't face complaining to someone that I had paid all of £11.75 for all that and I really wanted it for £6.75!
So now I've got two more plus a pinky (now I see why you all call them that!). Didn't get the third TS thing, didn't get the £5 off, didn't get many points but not bad for me!
Oy!! Stop calling yourself stupid! Not allowed on here.
All of us make a few slip ups when we first start Bootsing. On one of my first trips I picked up the wrong Natural Collection bag that I fully expected to get free as a glitch. Imagine my face when the SA said £7 something! LOL You live and learn.
Oh and what a lovely idea - to put one of the Trevor Sorbie mag vouchers on the SELs. :A I quite often tell people about the Time Delay but sometimes to be honest they look at me as if Im a sandwich short of a picnic! :rotfl:0 -
Does anyone know if there is a good foundation/make up primer i can get from Boots - preferably on offer but if not i have got a fair few points saved up. Did try and have a look round Southampton after my interview this afternoon but didn't see anything in any off the make up ranges.
TaI'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -
ATTENTION ALL GLASGOW BOOTSTERS!
I wondered if anyone had been successful in getting the number 7 suncare at BOGOF and half price?
I just had a brainwave! My mum is heading to Cuba after xmas for a holiday so I could make up a nice little basket of stuff for her as a gift. This site has inspired me!
Thanks in advance for your help weegies0 -
Oh and whilst I'm at it, saw some yellow Ted Baker handbag things on clearance at the Dewsbury store in West Yorkshire.0
