No 7 is still scanning at full price but on bogof in Oxford city centre if that helps any local Bootsers.
Couldn't wait any longer to get some as my sister is going on holiday this weekend so had to give in and get 2 x factor 25 plus gwp. Total after pinky was £7 so I guess it's not too bad. No good waiting a few more weeks to get it half price if she gets burnt in the meantime!!
Quiet disappointed with the perfume reductions. Kylie Darling had been reduced by £10 yesterday, but was back up to full price today  There were maybe only 2 or 3 other reductions marked on the sel's.
As for electricals, there was one Vidal Sassoon hairdrier reduced from £30 to £20.08, and that was the only reduction lol
There was no sign of any of the £1 off vouchers anywhere in the store.
Was quite funny today. Was having my usual wander and saw the Olay hand cream was back in stock. Popped one in my basket, and the mean SA who had so rudely stopped me using the till spit on it earlier in the week was patrolling the isles! She spotted it in my basket and started following me- not very discreetly either lol.
Still I gave her a bit of exercise as I went up and down the isles checking for reduced sel's. Then went upstairs as the ACM downstairs wasn't working. Checked reduced section upstairs, then popped back downstairs to get suncream. Scary No7 ladies all guarding the gwp's so went back round for a wander in case I'd missed anything. Went back upstairs as remembered I needed some headache tablets. Went back downstairs, grabbed No 7 gwp while SA's were serving another customer, and then went back upstairs to pay. Got in the queue to pay and remembered I'd forgotten to do the chocolate button glitch (2 big bags for 75p instead of 79p each
) so popped back down the stairs to get them lol.
The SA gave up at this point- gave me a dirty/ unimpressed look and then stopped to catch her breath lol. Went back upstairs, paid with till spits- no problem at all :j:j was sooooo pleased I went back downstairs and grabbed another Olay handcream and paid upstairs at the same till with the spit :j:j
So am really chuffed
Tbh I found it quite amusing, as this SA obv felt unable to say anything as I hadn't tried to use the till spit at that point, but she could see what I was going to do and she didn't like it!
I don't know what the hard and fast rule is on the hand cream- I know they scan, but not sure if that is deliberate or accidental. I guess the t&c's do state "must be used on facial skin care only"yet the hand cream did have the red tick label on it
Who knows with Boots tills!0 -

For all you Essex Bootsers there was lots of smiley gift sets at Lakeside today. I didn`t get 1 as they werent priced up on the shelf.

Who knows with Boots tills!Glad you got the handcream Tiara...even if it was after a 'Tiara's Boots SA workout' , bet her uniform will need to be one size smaller after the workout you gave her LOLThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. A couple of months back, when the xmas fragrance giftsets were reduced by 75% I got one of these sets for 11.25. I haven't opened it. I tried the tester at the fragrances counter (in my local store it is at the end of women's perfumes) but it does not smell like a fragrance (like the lovely ones we've been buying now!), but I am hoping that when I need it, it will cheer me up.
You can always take it with you and ask the lady at the tills if she can price check it. Then you decide. "Thanks but it is too expensive. Sorry about that."0 -
Thankyou agent Tiara. I haven't been able to get into town to check out perfume reductions, but I was half thinking it's probably not worth it knowing what Oxford are like for reductions. Nice to know nothing changes!!:www: :: MFi3 ::

Okay who cleared TC of all the MF GWP?, there were loads on Mon, not a 1 today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Got some R&M bags today, tried the SS till with No7 Tm and GWP but 'helpful' SA came over when the till went into meltdown, and offered to take me to a manned till and do it there  but I was trying to use pinky and Till spit No7 so I left it as DD2 was screaming the place down, i made a sharp exit
TC has the no7 pink jewellry box gwp says 2 gift wys £30 on No7:kisses2:Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.audaces fortuna iuvat fortune favours the bold0 -

Good for you, Tiara. Whatever the SA's thoughts on the handcream, I'm sure it's not her job to shadow customers and try to make them feel like criminals.
Well done on a good shop :T :T :T
Re the Smiley sets - I bought some a couple of months ago - made a great birthday present for a friend with SAD. Not what I'd call a strong perfumey-scent, but pleasant.0 -
Hi Iieee ,
Sadly you're right- still as poor as ever for reductions! Feel free to let me know if you're after anything specific and I'll keep an eye out for you.
Also- Ahem S*p*r*r*g have quite a few reductions on perfume at the mo- most of which are quite a lot cheaper than Mr BootsThankyou agent Tiara. I haven't been able to get into town to check out perfume reductions, but I was half thinking it's probably not worth it knowing what Oxford are like for reductions. Nice to know nothing changes!!0 -
Can anyone tell me which R&M brushes are going through free with the pinky?
I tried to buy the black haired eye brush (the one that is cut straight across) and the till bleeped.0 -
Someone (sorry can't remember who
) mentioned sainsbury's parent club on the last thread, anyone know how to join? For those of you who don't know me, I do have 2 children
