Had a bit of a trauma today using the Mitchum vouchers

SA: we don't accept photocopies <pushing them back across the counter at me.
Me: they're not photocopies, I printed them from the internet <pushing them back, smiling winningly ;) >
SA: I'll have to check with my manager <looking dubious>
    Me: okay then <still smiling>

Off she goes...... comes back with a manager. They have a little huddle.

Manager: sorry, we can't accept these, they're photocopies.
Me: they're not photocopies, I printed them from the internet, from the Mitchum website <still smiling.... slightly manic by this point.... starting to get face ache>
Manager: <deep sigh> okay, we'll accept them this ONCE but we won't be able to accept them again.

Gah, what a palava. Worth it though for 45p for 3 deodorants ;)

Will try another store tomorrow <practises winning smile>.

(ps. they actually all scanned no problem at all in the end, didn't have to be done manually - the SA's face as she saw the total coming down was a picture!)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

Mrs BB - you are a genius! I knew you'd be able to do it!
Keeley - eat your heart out!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Gah... Planet Thanet is devoid of TS serum. 5 Boots here and none of them sell the serum, R&M makeup, or have MF gwp to snaffle. Looks like I'll have to content myself with building up points via the TD mag coupon and tillspit.

Still got a few things today:

    Shop 1:
    2 x No.7 factor 50 anti-dark spot suncream thingy 10.75 BOGOF
    No.7 GWP
    TD facial exfoliating cream 4.75

    Total: £31ish

Used pinkie, tillspit and 200 pt TD mag voucher, paid £5.75 and got new set of vouchers.

    Shop 2:

TS serum (not the right one!)
    TS Long Hair shampoo
Elle M body exfoliator reduced to £1.24
    liplicious gloss reduced to £4.50

    Total: £17ish

Used TS mag voucher, pinkie, paid £3.25
2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher

i used 17 eye dazzle in sweet shop (I think its called this I could be making it up as I've not checked :rotfl: ) which is a pale lilacy purple as a base, then I used the purple out of the autum palette, virtually all over my lower lid to my lashes, apart from in the corner of my lower lid where I used the red from the autum palette, then I blended it so the colours didn't look seperate iykwim. Then I used No7 Eye Liner Gel in Majestic as close to my lashes as I could and then underneath my bottom lashes too, then I ran the brush I'd been using to apply the eyeshadow over the top of the liner. And finished with 2 coats of Dream Lash mascara in Jet Black :)
