Not seeing anything remarkable about this tbh...

I've got a k850i and although it isn't a total replacement for my proper camera, it's quite fine for the majority of quick snaps I take.

Sure, the samsung has a couple more megapixels, but I don't really see anything to suggest it's actually going to take better photos than anything that's on the market at the mo?

...after all what good is 8mp when the lens is poor?

My DSLR is 10.2 but would take pictures at more than 1.275times better ;)

And what good is 8mp and a brilliant lens and processor if it is being carried around in your pocket all day. I think I will wait until dust, dirt, coin, keys and other junk free pockets are invented.

    i'm interested.

but in no way a replacement for a proper camera even a point a shoot. limited options.

good for spur of the moment shots that will come out with a nice quality when you don't have another camera available.

When a mobile can do the washing and ironing, then I'll be first in line :)

The INNOV8 has shown up on CPW's website as being available, seems to only be on Orange though. But for £35 per month... that's less than what Orange are asking for an N95 8GB. Or an Omnia for the matter. Most interesting.

An observation with the two big dealers 4u and CPW is that each has just one of Samsung's two latest smartphones, the Windows Mobile equipped Omnia with 4u and the N95-killing Symbian INNOV8 with CPW. Both on Orange. Both big and heavy as bricks, and loaded with enough features to make me drool :p
