    Into my acount goes:

£75 child bens every 4 weeks
£193 child tax credit every 4 weeks (this is £193 from the next payment but the previous payments since april have only been between £145 and £175) Also- not sure if this counts as my income because although it is payed into my account its OH's CTC award

    Outgoings:

Rent £76.13 per week You need to work this out per month
    Housekeeping £200 per month
Gas & elect £70 per month
Water £15 per month (last bill was 8 months worth so i've had to do some crude calculations to come to this figure)
Telephone £30 per month (this is the basic virgin package)
Travel £3.00 per week (this is for the bus to and from DS's playgroup- is this allowed) It is essential travel. You need to work it out monthly. Do you travel any other time.
Clothing £20 per month (is this acceptable) Yes, if you need to you can up it
Maintenance £0.00 (our housing association is responsible for most repairs here)
    Council tax £110 per month
Other essentials £0.00 (not really sure what this would include- DS's playgroup fees possibly?)

    Total outgoings: £524.13

    So OH's contribution is £256.13

I've missed out OH's car insurance, diesel, road tax, clothes and other outgoings because they're his expenses.

Basically all my income goes towards the collective bills and OH puts in the rest. I have no way to prove that my money does go towards the bills because i have a cash card account so i just withdraw the cash and give it to OH to pay the bills, or to pay for food

Hair cuts £10 per adult. Do you pay for prescriptions? Eye tests? Glasses? Dentists?

Do you wear glasses then? You should make provision for dentist as well. Put down £20 for medical.

i do wear glasses- tbh its an old pair that aren't really up to my current prescription though

i'm not sure what to say about why i got my loan out in the first place- i did intend to use it to get driving lessons and buy myself a car (i was pregnant at the time) but it all got spent on baby stuff, hormonal indulgances and bills in the end and obviously i had expected my employer to take me back after maternity so i never thought for a second that i would be unable to pay it back

also- will they check the statements from when i got the loan? i can't be sure because my memory is cr*p but i think i might have transfered the full amount into either a joint account with OH or OH's account because it was easier for us to access at the time. Is that going to look a bit strange to them?
  • The Br clerk didn't really talk to me about why the debts happened this was left with OR.hormonal problems and all I think should not be too much of a problem. i found the clerk really helpful at amending things I had missed.yu got the right amount of copies?
