Anyone have any idea why the payment dates for this years student loans have changed so much?
Last year (my first) I was paid around the start of September, this year it's the end.

Mine hasn't changed. Check when your term starts and this is usually when the first payment is made (you may start later this year?)0

Mine has stayed roughly the same as well.0

I'm pretty sure it's three weeks later than when my term starts, not official yet as they haven't announced the start dates for my second year as of yet0

I always thought it was payed for when you started? What are your term dates?
I start on the 29th September and thats my first payment date.
Last year it was the 16th September (something like that) and that was the date of my first payment date again.0 -
It is paid after university has started. I'm not applying this year but in the last two years it was around 23rd-25th September0

SLC payment dates are determined by information received from your University. If its 'late' then chances are the payment date is what your Uni has advised SLC as being your course start date. You should speak to your Uni admin and ask them to check the start date on the 'HEI database' which I believ they should be able to access.0
