Micronet USB Dongle

Hi there
I've just purchased a 2nd hand PC with which they included a Micronet USB Dongle (but no instructions)! I've registered for Post Office Wireless broadband and wondered whether I'd be able to use this USB Dongle thingie or whether I'd be better off buying a new one.
Suggestions welcomed - I'm no techie!!!
