Sometimes it depends where in a country you are visiting as to what jabs you need, and the type of accomodation you are staying in. If you're staying somewhere decent in a town, you'll need less than if you're camping out in a rural area, so don't panic!
Check with your GP who should be able to offer free up to date advice - some of those above you should already have had as part of the childhood immunisaton programme. I can remember having the TB one at school, (although may be showing my age a bit.) And the malaria is tablets. So that's two down for a start!

That's true Popeye didn't need ANY jabs for his job in the city. It's only cos we're going on holiday to another part of Africa that we need them. And we don't need them, we're in a resort, but they won't let us back into his country without this certificate of innoculation. If we lose our certificate some bloke from customs and immigration will probably jab us

Listen Pania, if you don't go because of these jabs, I will never forgive myself for scaring you. And if you stay I will leave MSE, wear sackcloth and wail for the rest of my life.

And if you do need it you can get typhoid and tetanus together as one jab -so that's another one less. The number's going down all the time.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Literally flat on my back (not like THAT alas!) but just popping in to say go for it. yes its nerve racking, exciting, scary, but its also tax free (that aone will net you thousands), gets you away from TB, "OH" and in many ways a fresh start for you in a beautiful country with lovely, generous people (British people are tight fisted and selfish in comparison from my experience) plus they ill help you see a new culture and the joy of lving life frugally and differently. You can always come back if you hate it (but doubt you will) and am sure hypno will come and hold your hand for jabs...this really is a once in a lifetime oportunity and I'd hate to see you miss it. Not in a pressurey knd of way, just in I care about you and want the best for you kind of way plus with internet, webcam, skype etc we can still chat and you can still talk to besse mate etc...most of all just imagine not giving gordon any tax....that would do it for me! 800 last month I paid! Would mum/bessie mate be able to come and see you? keep us posted!
