Do you actually KNOW whether you need any jabs and if so what they are....no point worrying until you know what is needed.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Pania I'm as wussy as anyone re jabs.
But yesterdays didn't hurt AT ALL - I really mean it.
It must have been subcutaneous (in the fat below your skin) rather than intravenus (like when you donate blood) or intramuscular which would hurt. I didn't realise she'd done it
Giving £60 hurt FAR more :rotfl:0 -

Sometimes it depends where in a country you are visiting as to what jabs you need, and the type of accomodation you are staying in. If you're staying somewhere decent in a town, you'll need less than if you're camping out in a rural area, so don't panic!
Check with your GP who should be able to offer free up to date advice - some of those above you should already have had as part of the childhood immunisaton programme. I can remember having the TB one at school, (although may be showing my age a bit.) And the malaria is tablets. So that's two down for a start!
And yellow fever is sometimes only required if you're travelling from an infected area. Probably won't need as many as you think.
Depends which site you look at - http://www.worldtravelguide.net/country/159/health/South-East-Asia/Malaysia.html
which is why you need to speak to your GP.
Edit - forgot to say congratulations - I'm horribly jealous. My cousin lives in Singapore and goes to Malaysia a lot on holiday. Haven't managed a visit yet though. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
