    I think tube socks are just normal ankle socks as far as I can see:confused: and yes I did use rice :D

    Right asked mam again today and she still hasn't written the pattern down so it's all still in her head:rolleyes: But she said she just followed patterns from a premature baby knitting pattern and then adapted it here and there. So I've found a site with lots of patterns that can be used for the sock monkeys/snowmen hats:j but it does say if your going to use them please can you knit one for the charity as well, which is only fair I think:D
