Hi sharon59 - I'm sorry I can't give you the pattern as my mam makes them for me, but I will ask her if she can maybe write it down as I know she doesn't normally work from a pattern. I can then post it on here for you or send you a pm;)

thanks thats really nice of you.

  • Well my mam called round today and I have asked her to write down the pattern for the knitted hats and scarfs:beer: so will post as soon as she gives me it;)

Although these are not exactly monkeys they are still made from socks and sooooo much easier to make

I know what you mean :D I haven't got enough hours in the day for everything I want to do! I've also got to fit in 3 days work every week which is really inconvenient:rotfl: The snowmen are really easy to make, I made these 2 in about 30 mins (already had the hats and scarfs). I just used a trainer sock and filled it with rice, stitched the top shut and then glued on a few buttons. They are just soooo easy to make that I think I might have to make whole families of them :D

  • Oh Stardrops, these are absolutely gorgeous! Do you think I could have the hats pattern too, if you have it? My two would love these!!

    :-)

Am now thinking I might give these a try. Maybe a stupid question but what are tube socks? Can you use everyday socks?
and stardrops did you use rice in yours?
    thanks
  • I didn't mean to pester you (or your mum!), sorry about that. I just thought perhaps I had missed it somehow lol.

    Susan :-)
