Just found these little guys, they are so cute. I think I will be stocking up on white socks LOL, when they come down in price after the kiddies go back to school

They are cute. Wonder if there is a way you could stuff them with more socks rather than rice then the socks would be wearable still... Novel way to give socks as a prezzie.... I think the rice makes them stand up better though - what else could you stuff in them (incase the rice falls out everywhere)??

What about dried lentils in the bottom section, mixed with some dried onion & herbs & a stock cube with instructions to add water & simmer for"New year lentil soup to warm your insides while the socks warm your toes"? Maybe best to put the soup mix in a plastic bag inside the sock though!

was just thinking - instead of rice, could you maybe not fill with sweeties? such as m&m's, skittles, smarties that sorta sweets??
different type in each layer and maybe finish off with a choc in the last layer, such as a roses choc or quality street choc?
