  • I didn't explain that very well but you picked up exactly what I was asking, thanks Bossyboots, really appreciated. I will apply for a savings account later and once the application is completed hopefully will be able to access the features we've been used to with other card providers.

  • Savings account is now finally setup. Have added savings account to 'my accounts' at tesco.com. A button 'manage account' has appeared next to credit card & savings a/c summary. When I click on this an error page appears stating the service is temporarily out of action. Anyone else receiving this error?

    Yes, I haven't been able to access my online account for weeks. There was a timeout error on login which they have obviously fixed but have not got the whole service back up and running.
  • I have been able to check my credit card transactions every time i've needed to over the last weeks so your problems may be at your end. P.S. had more problems setting up online with Tesco than any other company but now seems to work ok, touch wood.

    Thanks for that. I have been using it for years without problems it is just lately things have not worked. As you have had no trouble, it obviously is something wrong my end so I will ring them later while I am trying to log in and see what is occurring. It comes up saying my customer number is wrong but then when I put it in again it accepts it but comes up saying my account has been inactive for 10 minutes!

    I had a nightmare setting up online access aswell! They had to cancel the registration I had with my CC and then set it up again for my savings account, then I was finally able to view my CC transactions. It took weeks and lots of phone calls. The customer services at Tesco were great though, really helpful and nice.

    Going through exactly the same hoops at the moment, seems a bit of a daft system they have setup
