Considering a Tesco CC to use just for day to day use for household spending and getting the clubcard points seems best cashback reward for our usage pattern.
However has anyone used/using the card any views on their online banking part of the site. How frequent are the updates to the account i.e. do transactions show up relatively quickly or just once per month with the statement etc.?Just like to keep track of what we've spent as the month goes on so we don't get any shocks/check any suspicious transactions.

Hi, I have a tesco cc and all I can view online is the balance, which for me is disappointing, this may have changed for new customers but I cant get a breakdown of specific purchases, just the balance (which is not as up to date as it is over the phone sometimes)
The card I have is the finest platinum, hope this helps!0 -
Hi,
I read here that if you open another tesco finance account you can see your credit card account in full online.Mortgage-free wannabe!0 -
So basically we have to set up a savings a/c of some kind?0

Apparently so, maybe open a savings acc with £1?Mortgage-free wannabe!0

I have a savings account and credit card with them so I can see all my transactions online. They appear very quickly after a purchase so it is easy to keep track. They can also be downloaded into Excel.0

Is that an Instant Access Savings account Bossyboots?
I've just been in touch with Tesco and transaction listings isn't a service provided but that it's available if you have a savings account. I am tempted to open a savings account but would like to make sure I'm opening the right type - i.e. Instant Access and not National Savings etc.
Thanks

It is any Tesco savings acount (not National Savings) - however only Instant Access Savings is available to new customers.0

I have a Clubcard Plus account which is classed as a savings account. However, other members on here are finding it impossible to open this account so as King says, it would have to be the Instance Access Savings account.0

Thanks for your replies, only just managed to read them!
One item I would like to confirm before proceeding: do the online account details show the billing periods. I.e. If last month the statment received via post was to 25/10 and assuming the next period ends on 25/11, is this indicated online and if so how quickly after the end of a billing period does it show? Otherwise the only way to tell is once the statement has arrived via royal mail and hence creates an element of guesswork/unknown which doesn't help the budgeting cause!!
Thanks Alexsus x0 -
I am not quite sure what you are actually trying to ask.
All your transactions are are online within a couple of days of being made, you do not have to wait until the end of a billing period to see them. You can view your last billing period (there are different views you can select) and the statement date is the same each month. You will therefore be able to see on a daily basis the items which will be included on your next statement.0
