they can justify their prices because they pay for their oil on a 6 monthly period so the price that they have paid has gone up compared to the last time so the cost is added on to the customer which is you and I.
They are a business so their aim is to make money, not panda to the customers.
Its not the companys you need to moan about for looking after people its the government!

Living in Scotland with a toddler and an infant we have no real choice the heating will have to be on at some points.
I plan on making great use of the timer and getting heating usage down to a minimum. We are lucky our home is all on one level and we replaced the windows and doors 18 months ago as well as insulating the attic space so we don't lose as much heat as we did 2 winters ago.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

well ive ordered dd and ds a fleece all-in-one suit to wear around the house- they find them warmer than dressing gowns. laredoute sell them up to 12years for children- with or without feet.
I bought a kingsize summer duvet the other day reduced to £2.50 in wilkos to put under my sheet on my bed.
We have a blanket already for sofa which i got as a freebie from freemans a few mths ago.:j
Im hoping to apply for a part time job working at local school so i wont be stuck home all day. :rotfl:
Heating use will be as limited as possible- maybe not at all unless we sort our boiler outwe need a new one- but also need the money for one
