    Hi there folks.

I did add this link on the reclaiming ppi forums above over the last few weeks, this is about "Phoenix firms" for example when firms liquidate/dissolve and then they start up again, especially the directors, we are in that position with at least one of those firms at the moment.

plus all your payments and interest you have made and a statutory 8% on top and the PPI and the loan amount reduced by the amount of the PPI

Has this been confirmed I thought they were limited to what they could pay out? Hope your right! Would make me very happy.:j if I win of course.

Thanks for the link will check it out later.I have just been looking through the FLA site (Financial Leasing Associatin) and it states the customer should receive a Cetificate of Insurance. I don't know about anybody else out there, but we only received a terms and conds brochure which is quite different to a policy document. As with all insurances you would receive the policy document which would state, words to the effect ' Please keep this Policy Document if lost cannot be replaced' Not sure if this would help woth a possible mis sell

Yes,I had no seperate certificate just a piece of paper welcoming me to the company, listing how much was being loaned ,no sign of figures with interest
and a sentence this letter constitutes a certificate of insurance and it starts on /5/06. No end date.

I think you need to ask for a copy of terms and conditions, I think you will find the same as we did, that the one they send you will be an amended one showing the total amount paybale. I'm sure this is a good case for a mis sell. I think their offices open Saturday you could possibly receive it Mon or Tues.Go for it!Keep me postedbusbyh

if they find the policy is mis sold, there is no way they can keep it added to the loan as a mis sold policy would not pay out.
