Hi Same thing happened to us but out settlement figue is 44,345 beacause of PPI. I've already spoken about this in the site. Ask for copy of terms and conditions I did and they sent me a different one (obviously amended to suit themselves) The first stated Full cost of PPI £8732 and the copy stated 9370+ interest = £11,200
Check it out now!! We took the loan out in Mar 2006.
The FSCS are dealing with ours now.

Just wanted to say to OP that I had to go to the FSCS service when my financial advisor went bankrupt and I couldn't reclaim what they owed me. It did take a very long time but I did get my money back in the end. Please stick with it.
Oh, and be aware that you may also get strange phone calls from strange people. I got one from PriceWaterhouse who were handling my case on behalf of the FSCS. Not wanting to give out any financial details I then went through a bit of a tortuous procedure to check that they were who they said they were, while at the same time they were trying to confirm I was who I said I was. If Picture does go down with lots of people making claims, it wouldn't surprise me if they used outsourced help for that too, so something to watch out for.
I've just checked Companies House and they do still seem to be trading, but I watch companies for a living (how sad's that?) and there is a couple of week grace period before you have to let Co's House know you are in administration.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
