Is it a 50/50? If it was British base the issue would be likely to be sorted
I don't rate UK call centres above Indian ones. There are good companies and bad and I think it relates to how well the company manages itself, rather than to where the call centre is.After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -
if it's a call centre why should they write?0

I personally find the India argument is also used by ignorant people who are either small minded bigots or are trying to insinuate race is the reason they dont get the resolution they want as opposed to their inaptitude/breach of contract/genuine issue
Unfortunately for you your completely wrong. the Indian argument is a valid one... i have been with BT for 8 months now and not ONCE have i had a correct Bill we get overcharged EVERY month. as for being a racist your wrong. im married to a Chinese Woman and i can understand her easily as much as i could when we first met.
the fact of the matter is that indian call centers are all actors... they read from scripts and as previously stated they cannot understand request made after that due to the fact they are only trained to help with a set number of issues.
and if anyone was wondering you can get put through to a British worker but you may have to wait a little longer. they still may not resolve the problem but atleast they can understand you better. if you are having trouble (thats the important bit) with them understanding you or you understanding them you may ask to be transfered to an Onshore call center EG UK however if you phone up and say "i want to speak to someone from the uk" they can refuse.0 -
I have to tell you, from when I worked at BT - if you came on effing and jeffing about the Indian call centres, we'd transfer you straight across to the Welsh speaking adviserComping wins this month: 2 x business class flights anywhere we like | Horse vitamins (!) | New kettle | Motorcycling prints | Signed LPs | Thanks to all!0

Why is the OP getting such a hard time? Its a perfectly reasonable question. There are some accents I struggle with in England, never mind ones from other countries.
