Am I pushing it?

Dear All,

I have a 3 package which runs out in November and have received a call from 3 stating that I can upgrade. My package at £20 per month gives me an Nokia E61 and 500 x mins and X silver package allowing 1 gig internet traffic per month. I have read up some of the other threads and gone through to "retentions" who have offered me an upgrade to an Nokia E71 (I use email and internet a lot and would like this phone) for the same deal.
However, they will not budge regarding offering me incentives in getting more minutes for the same monthly charge of £20 and instead offer me the same deals otherwise listed on their website. I am looking toward getting a 1000 x mins, since my company phone will be disappearing with my job.
Will they change their tune if I get my PAC now or in the last month before my contract runs out?
Or have I got a great deal already and pushing my luck?

Show them who's boss! They are the most stubborn network out there, you really have to push them to get a decent deal!

If your contract doesn't run out until November, you're not yet in the strongest bargaining position. I don't see how you can get your PAC now.

They usually offer an upgrade early to tie you into another contract before you can go elsewhere.

You are in the strongest position when your are (contract length - notice length required) as you are then free to move to another network after giving the required notice.
