At present I have o2 Broadband but am considering adding mobile broadband as OH works away a lot and would be cheaper than paying in hotels. They are offering a £7.50 discount for 12 months , so our £10 per month package would be £22.50 for 12 months and then £30 for the remaining 6 with this added.
Has anyone got it and what are your views. Would like some recs before I commit for 18 months
Also anyone got a better deal
Thanks

o2 broadband isnt the greatest at the moment, its good to for the future as it is improving vastly, but for now if you want mobile broadband go for Vodaphone(best now), Tmobile or 3G.0

Is it just the O2 mobile broadband that isn't great?
I've been hearing and reading positive comments regarding O2 broadband.
We're thinking of changing from Tiscali 'cos they are the pits and O2 seems to have the best write ups.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
You're better going with other networks for mobile BB, O2 is one of the dearest for 3GB allowance.0

I like the idea of home broadband and mobile broadband from 02 for £20 a month.0

My question was on mobile bradbans as per my post I have home broadband and its great. If I went with another provider for mobile would that cause probs and which is the cheapest and best0
-
You could go with another provider for mobile broadband but that is £15 to £20 a month on it's own.
If you have 02 home broadband then wouldn't they give you the two together for £20 as advertised ?
I'm been reading on various forums about mobile broadband from different providers and the reviews seem to be mixed and if you go over your monthly allowance (except for T Mobile) the extra charges are steep.
Also if you sign a long contract for mobile broadband and then find after a month or two the service is poor you still have to sit out the contract or pay it off.
18 months or two years seems to be the norm for many of these contracts.0 -
Yes, The charge would be £22 discounted as I have the 8meg home package. the reason I am posting is to try and find someone who uses it and how they find it as it is a lengthy contract to sign in to0
