I don't think that the prices will be falling any time. As the prices go up, people will be forced to find ways to save on electricity and gas, therefore the utilities companies will have less profits, and they'll have to find ways to recoup the loss to appease the shareholders, therefore they will always have a tendency to increase prices, pushing more and more people into fuel poverty (not only pensioners will suffer, but people on low wages too).I think price increases show some people just exactly what golden days we have had and that, as space rider says, when prices were cheaper people didn't care if they left lights on all day, TVs on in rooms that no-one is in.
People on bigger salaries will always waste and carry on wasting energy and carry on not to care, so I say if us little people had it good for a while, there is no need to feel guilty about it.0 -

Yeah, posting on a forum anyone can read and reply to.
If they don't want people knowing their business or commenting on it, then they shouldn't be posting on a forum! It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
As Cardew says old folk are already cushioned. Sixty isn't old, the age limit for the allowance should be raised to 65, in line with National Pensions, and the resulting savings should be dedicated to compulsory insulation for everyone.0
