Hello,

I bought a laptop from Tesco Direct on saturday and it's now £30 cheaper at Staples. Do they price match at all?

    no they dont

but ring them up and ask them if they will price match or ask for your money back and get it from staples if you want to save the £30

drop laptop on floor, take back as faulty, get refund, go to staples.
30pound you save will buy enough petrol to get from tesco to staples.

    Don't tell me you're serious.
  • It's also £45 dearer in Dixon's so ask Tesco's to make the cheque payable to them and remember to withdraw the extra £15 to give them.

First rule about buying any electronics : whatever you buy and however much research you do beforehand, you will always find it cheaper the next week.

Rule 2: Whatever you buy someone somewhere will tell you its crap and that you should have got xxx instead.

Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying

Crikey, it was just a basic question as I know Comet Price match (but don't advertise the fact) and I'm sure Amazon have a similar policy is they drop the price on their own site. Loving your rules Lynne, especially no. 2!
