Can someone please tell me how I can follow a thread as it progresses? I have so far been remembering the title and searching for it to see what the new replies are - surely there's an easier way. What does 'subscribe' mean? Would this make things easier to follow? I've searched the FAQs but cannot find this information - I'm new to this forum stuff and am slowly making progress, but not fast enough apparently!

That's brilliant, thanks. It's a lot to wade through but I'll get the hang of it!

I usually click on my name (bottom of homepage), then I can find my previous posts.

Sometimes though, I just want to follow the progress, and bow to other's knowledge of the matter being discussed.

If you click on User CP it will list the threads you have subscribed to that have most recently been posted on. Sometimes though this messes up and you need to then click on List Subscriptions (this gives the same info)

If you see a thread that you just want to follow but don't want to post on there is a link at the top of each thread called thread tools, click this then subscribe to thread.
