    Hi everyone,
    not sure if this counts but have just read on the internet that EON (who we have both gas and electricity with) have increased their gas prices by a HUGE 26% and their electricity by 16% as from today.

    We fixed our price back in May and it stays fixed until Oct 2009!! So although not directly today.... I am so glad we did, we are already paying £108 a month for both.

    Anyway the rest of today:

    * have transferred my money from paypal to bank account would have been £29.99 except for the wretched withdrawal charge!!! of 25p
    * checked online banking
    * surveys x 2
    and a NSD planned.

    I changed to Eon recently and opted for the capped rates, but so far just had 1 letter saying that it could take a little while to set up. I was reassured that although it takes a while the cap is set on the day we joined up, so fingers crossed. Just had a bill from southern electric and I could weep, I really could. I am currently paying them £10 a week on their request, as they said that is what we use weekly. Todays bill basically say there is no way the current payments will cover the use and I have to phone THEM so they can tell me the new amount. I already pay them £10 a week for an outstanding amount, there is no way I can pay more than £20 a week :( My nice new shiny bill states an that I owe them £434 now, and would I like to make an additional payment to cover this :rotfl: oh and apologising that its taken them 6 months to send a bill :mad:

    Oh dear, sorry, didnt realise how mad it had made me! :o

    Thanks for that Ruby, we are with EON, also on a fixed tarrif so its good to know we did it just in time, especially looking at those hikes. I don't want to imagine how much we would have been paying otherwise.:eek:
