Thursday 21/08/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I will:
  • update spreadsheets
  • check online banking
  • do clicks
  • Make a loaf in breadmaker
  • Storecupboard lunch and tea
  • Swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
Busy day here today, got an open day at the scheme this afternoon and manager's visit this morning:rolleyes: Will be glad when today s finished.
Still raining here, think we need to start growing webbed feet:rotfl:
Have a good day everyone, hi to all the regulars and welcome to any new posters.Catch up with you all later:D

I walked past the coffee shop this morning instead of going in for a 'bargain' £1.20 latte (In future I'm going to allow myself one on a Monday and Friday only!)
I'm charging my phone at work as we speak!
    Walking home tonight
Lunch is being bought for me today
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
